Carsten Hood

Carsten Hood is the Director of Operations at Redbud Advisors, where he oversees firm systems and processes and works closely alongside the Advisors and Team to help Redbud’s clients seamlessly navigate financial complexity.

Prior to joining Redbud Advisors, Carsten worked in the software space at a real estate data company and an intellectual property law firm. Carsten’s engineering background equips him to organize clients’ financial data and prepare custom-tailored reporting across their investments, cash flows, and estate plans, which means a better-informed decision process for Redbud and our clients.

Carsten participated in the Engineering Honors program at Texas A&M University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Minor in Cybersecurity. An Austin native, Carsten enjoys competing in beach volleyball and started a local meetup group focused on politics and economics.
